The benefits of pole barns
Standard benefits:
- The eco-friendly and durable design of pole barns makes them perfect for both home or business use.
- The customization options allow you to plan out the pole barn of your dreams with all the features that you want and need.
Emotional benefits:
- The freedom to create a space that’s exactly what you’ve always wanted.
- The pride you feel after creating a beautiful home or business.
Things you should have:
- The area in which you’ll build the pole barn needs to be cleared out of anything that will get destroyed by construction activity. The ground also needs to be leveled off so it’s even, and this is something your contractor can help to make sure happens. The only thing you should have after clearing out the area is a huge plot of land!
- The contractor will need as much information as possible about what you want your pole barn to look like in order for them to design it properly. You should also know about any zoning restrictions that could affect the location of your pole barn.
- The contractor can tell you what kinds of options are available to you when it comes to picking the materials you want for your pole barn, including siding, roofing material, and insulation. The more information you’re able to provide about what your needs are, the better decisions they’ll be able to make when choosing these materials.
The advantages of pole barns over other construction materials and methods, such as stick framing or steel building systems
Pole barns are a great way to build a home or commercial building. They require less carpentry and masonry skills than traditional construction methods, such as a stick-frame house or a steel building system. Pole barns are also more environmentally friendly and durable than other kinds of building materials. With pole barns, you don’t have to worry about rotten wood or unreliable metal roofs. Pole barns can withstand the test of time.
A few examples of pole barn kit homes that have been built by the company in the past year
The first example of a pole barn kit home that we’ve recently built was in Essex County, NJ. It is on the property of one of our customers who wish to remain anonymous and has an estimated build time of six months depending on how quickly our crew can work.
The kit has a 10×36′ building. In the span of three months, our team framed the steel shell, installed siding and shingles, sealed the attic floor with spray foam insulation, insulated all interior walls with spray polyurethane foam insulation, finished interior walls by installing drywall over 2×4 framing, and installed all trim and doors.
The second examples of pole barn kit homes that we’ve recently built were in North Brunswick Township, NJ. We were given the opportunity to build a brand-new pole barn for a company named John C Hobock & Sons in order to test market our product.
The kit has two buildings: one is 10×40′ and the other is 12×36′, both of which have an estimated build time of 4 months. The first part that was built was the 12×36′ building, which took three months to complete. The second part is currently being worked on and will be done soon.
The structure of each building is made of 2″x6″ studs, 4′ on center., covered with basement paneling, and sits on top of a concrete slab. In both examples, the pole barn kits were shipped from Southern California to New Jersey. Once they arrived, our team started constructing them and finished in under 4 months.
We have many examples of pole barn kit homes throughout New York, NJ, NY, and CT that are being built every day.
